    About Us

    Original Acquisition

    Rowe & Co Pty Ltd was originally acquired from Ian Rowe and Geoffrey Norgate in 2013.  After Ian Rowe officially retired the Practice was renamed to Top Cat Accountants Pty Ltd.

    We are situated in a lovely modest old post-war style home in the lovely suburb of Camp Hill, Brisbane.   Aside from being a Chartered Accountant, I enjoy redecorating and design and I have enjoyed redecorating the office and garden.  My style is typically nothing like one would expect from an Accountant’s office and I enjoy being different from the norm.

    As a self-proclaimed cat lover and owner when I re-branded the business, I felt making cats a theme for the business was inevitable.  The cat appearing in all the photos and logos is my own cat Oscar and they are not photoshopped!!  I took him to a professional pet studio to have these photos made.  Amazing I thought as I didn’t think he would do it!

     

    Sadly my beloved cat Oscar who has been my company mascot passed away aged 15 years however I do have another cat at home.

    Qualifications

    Lucinda Smith (Principal & Owner), CA, Registered Tax Agent

    Has a Bachelor of Business (Hospitality Management) and a Master of Commerce (Professional Accounting) from the University of Queensland. Is a member of the Chartered Accountants in Australia (CA), Member of the Institute of Public Accountants and a Registered Tax Agent. Has 20 years accounting experience and has been in taxation since 2013. I commenced my career in Chartered firms and worked an auditor for several years before going into commercial where I have worked in both medium and large companies including oil and gas, engineering and education.
